My Wife & I first bought a piece of Charlie’s art a few years back after strolling passed her van at Maldon’s Prom. From there we have continued to collect pieces, mainly running with the Paddington & Winnie The Pooh themes that Charlie does so well, and displaying them all over. We both love Charlie’s style of painting, and the beautiful way in which she see’s the world & put it into paper.
Just recently though I asked Charlie if she would do a commissioned piece for my Wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary, the finished product? Astounding! Working from a few different photos of the big day, Charlie manages to put them together and great perfection. I couldn’t honestly recommend Charlie high enough to capture a special moment of your past, or a memorable location in the most personal way possible (or maybe pop down & get yourself one of her ‘famous’ scenery pieces of the Maldon area)

Charlie is a very friendly lady who we met selling her paintings. After chatting, I discovered she takes commissions. I got her details and she was happy to back and forth over email and WhatsApp discussing, fine tuning and even editing a beautiful A3 painting. Charlie was happy to photograph her progress as she went - a unique and positive part of the experience (also helpful as at one point she was happy to revise a part for my pickiness).
Beautiful is an understatement, exquisite. The detail was second to none. Creative and fun.
It was for my mums 60th - she likes it so much she has it at the foot of her bed which makes its way out for all of her guests.
Very thankful.
Ours was based around Paddington Bear and our family at the beach with a cheeky Peter Rabbit hopping in…

The paintings are beautiful the attention to detail is amazing.  I bought one just recently called stollen sandwiches and you can tell straight away that its set in maldon . And it has Paddington bear in it which is lovely . Charlie is so lovely as well and so helpful  the delivery was fast and she delivers it herself
